Melody Matters
Meet Benn Willis.
Award winning vocal coach and producer, with over 30 years of performance, production and vocal study behind every session.
A singer first.
Benn Willis leads Melody Matters, a vocal coaching and production studio based in Cardiff and working in London and online. He has coached everyone from complete beginners to Grammy Award winning artists. He is also a signed songwriter with JAM Music Publishing, London, writing music for TV, film and advertising.
Over three decades Benn has trained alongside some of the world’s most respected vocal coaches and performers, worked on the first series of Fame Academy with Carrie Grant, and written and gigged with Grammy winning songwriter Amy Wadge. Producer Steve Lillywhite called his voice “one of the most unique voices I have ever heard”.
That experience shapes a highly technical yet pragmatic approach: clear, practical coaching based on how the voice really works, rather than vague inspiration.
